Jazman on Allen Street and Delancey.

Albert Bierstadt (1830–1902) was a German-American painter known for dramatic, oversized landscapes of the American West. He was part of the Hudson River School’s later generation and helped shape public imagination of the frontier with intensely luminous landscapes.
These photos show the incredible detail in his painting “Storm in the Rocky Mountains, Mt. Rosalie” (1866) on view at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
We were lucky to have Henry with us for about 13 years after he was rescued from an abandoned apartment. I love this tattoo by the incredible Jess Machete.

Jess Machete, who did both of my amazing tattoos, selected this photo from the pile I sent her for Henry’s portrait.

These movies are as tough to get through now as they were 40 years ago. So glad they’ve been restored and put on disc.
