At the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

Returned to the Monet and Venice exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. This show is as much about Venice at the time of Monet as much as it is about Monet’s time in Venice. Features by many of his contemporaries and predecessors as well as photos of and books about Venice from the latter half of the 19th century.

“Wolf Tits” is the last remaining warehouse on the north end of the Gowanus Canal. How this section of the canal has changed over the years that I’ve been photographing it.
